The safe switching of direct current places the highest demands on components. With the new CAPUS®, Wöhner more than fulfils these requirements. Developed for PV applications, the new CAPUS® can reliably switch currents of up to 500 A at 1500 V DC in the smallest of installation spaces and fulfils all UL98B requirements.
The portfolio is supplemented by terminal compartment covers, signalling switches and an external handle, allowing almost any application to be implemented.
The optimised connection compartment covers ensure the best possible user protection at all times.
Thanks to its compact design, our new DC switch-disconnector is the smallest switch available on the market with comparable technical requirements.
The high short-circuit resistance of 40 kA opens up a wide range of applications in the industrial sector in addition to the PV sector.
The UL98B and IEC 60947-3 certifications with CCC approval allow the switch to be used worldwide without any problems.
The generously dimensioned space around the connection lugs allows easy connection to the switch in a vertical or horizontal position. The handle can be easily converted to a door coupling rotary handle if required.
