Ready for Boarding - with the new 4th generation EQUES® adapter series up to 32 A rated current. We have rethought the familiar adapter standard for motor starter applications and simplified the interface for switching devices to the busbar system to the essentials. With the improved cable assembly, which withstands significantly higher temperatures, the new tool-free adjustable DIN mounting rail and the trend-setting design, we are taking the adapter technology for 16 A and 32 A feeders to the next level.
In addition to the longer connection cable for switching devices with spring clamp terminal, the additional variant with integrated spring clamp technology in the adapter brings maximum flexibility in the application. All variants can be used internationally thanks to IEC, CCC and UL certification.
The new adapter generation is fully compatible with our existing adapters, i.e. mixed installation of old and new adapters is also possible.
The new cable assembly with increased temperature resistance, the halogen-free insulation material and the overall improved short-circuit withstand set new standards in adapter technology.
Additional flexibility and speed in mounting the switching devices is provided by the new tool-free adjustable mounting rail.
The new slim design is closely linked to the optimized use of materials. Thanks to the reduced use of resources, the new adapter generation also scores in terms of sustainability.
The new generation of EQUES adapters up to 32 A rated current is optimally tailored to the adaptation of motor-protective circuit-breakers, direct-on-line and reversing starter combinations. The adapter variants with integrated spring-loaded technology also enable the user to use a customer-specific cable or to implement two-phase outgoing feeders, such as power supply units.
The new generation is also intuitive and easy to mount. Thanks to the proven latching element of the EQUES adapters, which has also been optimized in with the new design, simple and fast snap-on without tools is guaranteed for busbars with a thickness of 5mm and 10mm. For the disassembly of the adapters, a tool is required as usual to release the latching element.
The highlight is the new type of mounting rail, which can be moved up and down by simply actuating the wings. At the same time, the mounting rail is mechanically secured against slipping in both directions for a guaranteed tight fit of the switching devices.
