BROOME20 – the ideal solution for the reliable distribution of 24 V auxiliary power in the control cabinet!
With its extremely compact design of just 49.5 mm width and an efficiency of > 96%, our powerful 20 A BROOME20 power supply unit supplies electronic switchgear and measurement technology products extremely efficiently and reliably. The user also has the option of increasing the output current to up to 60 A as required.
Thanks to the familiar CrossLink® technology, mechanical fixing and electrical contacting are carried out directly in a single work step – on all Wöhner basic systems! And, whether upstream or at the outlets – our BROOME20 eliminates the need for a separate back-up fuse.
All this makes our BROOME20 a real all-rounder in every application.
With its compact construction in the unique Wöhner design, BROOME20 achieves a new dimension in this performance class with a width of only 49.5 mm.
With its integrated boost the output current can be increased to 60 A based on your needs. This makes BROOME20 a real all-rounder.
The careful circuit design with an efficiency of > 96% and the sophisticated device construction ensure a future-proof power supply unit with high energy efficiency.
Using high-quality components, our BROOME20 provides reliable and long-lasting 24 V auxiliary power for your applications and electronic components.

Minimised use of materials thanks to the extremely space-saving design; increased efficiency and durability due to the high efficiency and a well thought-out circuit design and versatile use thanks to an extended output current range
All of this contributes directly to the most sustainable distribution of 24 V auxiliary power.
BROOME20 was developed by Wöhner as a power supply unit to supply components reliably, efficiently and as required with auxiliary power. Any application with electronic products or the need for measurement technology can be realised in this way.
The continuous output current of 20 A can be increased to up to 30 A for 5 seconds and even 60 A for 15 ms if required and for short periods. This means that demanding loads can be operated reliably, even when starting up, and that circuit breakers can be tripped safely by increasing the current by 300 %.
Thanks to its extremely space-saving design with a width of just 49.5 mm, BROOME20 saves valuable space in any power distribution system compared to conventional power supply units in this power class. Thanks to an excellent efficiency of > 96% and the selection of high-quality components, operation is also highly efficient and long-lasting. The heat generated when converting from 400 V to 24 V is minimised, simplifying thermal management.
Mounting via the familiar CrossLink® interface makes installation and maintenance much easier – and brings the required auxiliary power to all Wöhner base systems. LEDs on the front clearly indicate the status and possible overload and thus contribute to operation and servicing. In addition, the user does not need a separate back-up fuse – BROOME20 is safe upstream thanks to the integrated short-circuit protection and the outputs are short-circuit-proof by design.
As with all CrossBoard® components, the 45 mm wide BROOME20 is snapped onto the basic system simply and tool-free with a direct connection. In a single step, the device is mechanically secured and an electric connection established.
For the likewise very fast removal of CrossBoard® components, a screwdriver is needed for safety reasons, thereby ensuring that components are not removed accidentally.
The power supply unit BROOME20 is also suitable for mounting on the 60Classic and 30Compact basic systems and – via the EQUES®185Power basic system adapter – on the 185Power 185-mm busbar system.
In addition to the functional scope of BROOME20, the range of accessories offers that certain extra for your application. Are you planning to use an uninterruptible power supply (UPS) or electronic fuse? Our Design-In team will support you personally and individually!
